The Wavering Veil

The Wavering Veil is vast and dark. Spiraling mist sweeps through the twisted shapes of the forest, pooling low in hollows and catching on shapes that shift in the shadows. In some places, the veil has grown thin over time. In other places, it happens wherever emotion runs deepest, pulling at the seams of the veil. When it gives, something on the other side feels it. Nine of them wait.
